It has been Miss Julie's lifelong dream to create a dance school for the whole family, but it took her 'baby steps' to get there! Miss Julie began dancing when she was three years old.  She trained at Koresh School of Dance and Broadway Dance Center.  She danced professionally in both New York City and Philadelphia with modern and Latin jazz companies such as P-Funk, Fortaleza Dancers and Ritmo Latino.  She taught at the Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts, as well as local dance schools and camps both in Philadelphia and here in Los Angeles. She is certified in prenatal and postnatal exercise instruction by Dancing Thru Pregnancy.

Using her Masters in Education and Bachelors in Theater Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as consultations with respected child psychologist, Dr. Kathryn Falkenstein, Miss Julie created a dance program based on the principles of early childhood development. Baby Steps Dance is designed to promote development of fine and gross motor skills, such as balance, coordination and agility as well as develop social skills such as listening, following directions and sharing.  Moreover, in our fun and non-competitive classes, dancers' self esteem and confidence blossom!

Her favorite dance partners are her husband, Bo and daughter, Hannah.
